Nigeria Is Sick, Don’t Hand It Over To A Sick Man – Peter Obi

Peter Obi, the Labour Party (LP) presidential candidate on Thursday in Enugu State, called on Nigerians not to hand over a sick country to a sick man.

In keeping with his nationwide efforts ahead of the general elections in 2023, Obi made this statement in Nsukka.

The former governor of Anambra State stated, “This country is sick and should not be given over to a sick person,” during a meeting with the UNN Business School and other alumni.

“I don’t want to imply that anyone is ill. We don’t want individuals who can’t stand for 30 minutes because we’ve been here for more than two hours.

In order to prevent the country from getting into even more trouble, he said that character and trust should be factors to watch out for in the upcoming election.

The front-runner for the presidency urged Nigerians to carefully consider each candidate’s background before electing them.

“Debates are held during elections in the United States. Barack Obama once responded to a questioner who asked him a personal question. However, when someone in Nigeria wishes to run for office, we don’t know his exact age, his name, or the schools he attended. He is attempting to lead everyone and nobody is aware of his true identity, he insisted. According to Daily independent.

Obi stated, “My name is Peter Obi, I can say I went to CKC, went to University of Nigeria, Nsukka. I can say the country needs a president with character, someone we can trust. Today’s VC and DVC are both classmates from my old school.
