Shehu Sani reacts, as INEC says youths constitute majority of the 93 million registered voters

Yesterday, the Independence National Electoral Commission, INEC, released the data of eligible voters in Nigeria, who will be voting for their various candidates in the forthcoming general.

In the data that was released, the commission claimed that majority of the eligible voters in their data were youths, as such has never been recorded in the history of the country.

However, while the former senator, who represented the Kaduna Central Senatorial District, Senator Shehu Sani, was reacting to this on his official Twitter handle, he said that since the youths constitute the majority of the voters, then they should pick between voting the right person or protesting by carrying placards.

He said, “The Nigerian Youth constitute the majority of the 93 million registered voters. The Choices are yours; to take back your country with your votes or to live the rest of your lives with placards and Aluta solidarity songs and gbosa, gbosa mentality.”
